Unbelievably, these huge Licorice 6 quart stand mixers are on sale for 330$ despite being 500$ normally. Saving that 170$ isn’t enough as Amazon has a FREE 80$ ice cream maker attachment available for you when you buy a KitchenAid Pro 600 mixer. Great deal that has been active since around Mother’s Day.
At nearly 5 stars on Amazon with 500 reviews, this is as close to perfection as it gets with stand mixers. With the extra 1.5 quarts compared to the KitchenAid Artisan Mixer, there is plenty of room for heavy duty operations like kneading your own bread. Plenty of shredders and other additions for whatever else you would like to do with the mixer. KitchenAid 600 series mixers now have a metal housing for the gearbox to ensure the long term stability we have come to expect from KitchenAid over the years. Just be careful with the amount of high gluten flour used with any stand mixer, the KitchenAid 600 pro series mixers included

Hey Tawnya…Amazon has prices that fluctuate often unfortunately. The 299$ deal was around Christmas and afterwards the 600 series mixers went up back around the 350$ range, which considering the value from this still is a pretty good deal.
That said, a few colors of the KitchenAid Professional 600 series 6 quart mixer are on sale for 48 hours (this weekend). The KitchenAid Pro 600 series has the Licorice / Pearl Metallic / Nickel Pearl mixers on sale for 319$. Since you can get FREE SHIPPING this makes it quite a deal, only 20$ more than it was during Christmas.
